I say neither. The Harry Potter series i like to stay away from cause i' m Christian and i dont like the whole wizard/witch thing(i still read the books, like once tho) and the hunger games......Too Romancie For me. Didnt even watch the movie. (gasp!!! :0)
I say Harry Potter. In the Hunger Games,(which i love) it's honestly mainly about killing. I mean, it has other stuff so it's not all bad but it's just constantly so serious. But, in Harry Potter, there is a really interesting plot that isn't all serious and involves humor, while still being dramatic.
I'd say The Hunger Games. I think that all of the Harry Potter books took too long just for the ending, (defeating Voldemort.) There is always a suprise in the Hunger Games Trilogy.
I think The Hunger Games for multiple reasons. First of all they are more realistic. People do have to fight for their lives if they are in the military. No one is a wizard like the characters are in Harry Potter. next the charactrs are easier to relate to in The Hunger Games. People can relate to being poor or hunting for their own food or keeping their sibings safe. However in Harry Potter its hard to relate to the characters. The characters don't have to deal with many issues because they can fix everything with "magic".
Well Mr. Shen that was a very good choice to compare those two. I personallly think hunger games. Sure the Harry Potters series is okay but when you really think about it the only good eposodes of that entire series is the last 3. Now I did read the Hunger Games which wasnt really worth it and i havent read the Harry Potter books at all but i hear they are far superior to the movies. But the Hunger Games movie is more thrilling due to the mostly unknown fact that it is very controversial concept. Politics run all through there. All honesty out, I think they both are bad reads and bad movies and i would rather watch something else, yet the Hunger Games is better. P.S. Harry Potter and dumb magic movies were intended for younger children which rots our young ones mind to think that there is a hope for magic even though magic is pointlessly a mock to our world. I think The Hunger Games in my opinion because Suzanne Collins did a great job at writing the trilogy. You never know whats going to happen next. In the Harry Potter series, you know what is going to happen next most of the time. But in The Hunger Games, everything that happened was almost unpredictable. I just thought that The Hunger Games was better than Harry Potter.
